For over 25 years, Albert "Coach" Fann has been in the fitness and wellness industry training and educating children, adults, and the disabled community. Albert specializes in general fitness, sports specific training, corrective exercise and postural, and meal management. He also holds certifications from ISSA, NESTA, NCCPT and ACE as well as a California State Administrator License for residential care work with developmentally disabled adults and at risk youth. While attending Cal State University Northridge, Albert studied Exercise Science while earning 4x All-American honors in football. Albert was soon after drafted to the New York Giants.
After pro-football, Albert returned to personal training orchestrating “on the road” workouts for celebrities including Carrie Underwood who won Best Body in People’s Magazine that year. Albert served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Discovery Prep football team and the Cleveland High football and basketball teams. In addition to working with these teams, Albert worked to develop young athletes and prepare them for the next level of competition: high school, college and pro.
Albert’s mission to spread fitness and wellness continued when he created FitFann, a multi-faceted company which developed and ran corporate fitness programs for local businesses in the San Fernando Valley, such as Max Communications, OPI (Optimum Performance Institute) and Harris Direct to name a few. FitFann also orchestrated fitness and wellness awareness seminars for middle school children. While touring the San Fernando Valley, Albert conducted presentations on the importance of health and fitness to over 25,000 children and faculty members. While targeting childhood obesity, Albert strives to bring awareness to the growing epidemic while demonstrating fun ways to exercise. In 2012, Albert created a program called EFFORT for the California Youth Authority Probation camps stationed at Camp Kilpatrick and Camp Gonzalez.
